Abbeydale Picture House
22nd June 2017

ANNEXINEMA curate a programme of films to be shown in the beautiful community run Abbeydale Picture House. This event will complement the Everything Flows exhibition curated by Jeanine Griffin at Sheffield's Millennium Gallery. The programme is loosely themed on migration and flow and is held during International Refugee Week in collaboration with Open Kitchen Social Club, an organisation set up to provide food, support, and a place to meet for destitute asylum seekers, refugees and those in need in the wider community.

As the event falls during Ramadan, guests are invited to share in the breaking of the day's fast after the screening has finished at around 9.30 p.m with a meal cooked by Open Kitchen members. The films will start at 7.30 p.m. Samosas will be available before the screening for the hungry!

The programme will include work by Sasha Litvintseva, Usama Alshaibi, Katie Davies, Roger Suckling, Douwe Dijkstra, David Rimmer, Peter Rose, and Poh Wang.
