ANNEXINEMA at Sneinton Showcase
19th December 2009

Nottingham Visual Arts worked with Soundings Consultants, Contemporary Art Society, and local artist led studio groups, designers, performers and practitioners to create a day of performances, stalls, dancing and roaming theatre on Sneinton Market.

As part of the events, ANNEXINEMA invited Exocet to choose video work to be shown in the window of the bed shop on Bath Street (with many thanks to Karl Fox for letting us use his shop). Exocet have a precedent of showing work in this way as part of their Stille Nacht series, where artists' silent film and videos are presented in the window of exhibition spaces when night falls. They chose to show Anna Barham's Magenta, Emerald, Lapis.
